The Market continues to GROW

I posted a question on Facebook, asking if any other towns wanted to have a Mums Market, and the immediate response was Rotorua. With that kind of response, how could I refuse!

The hardest part seems to be finding a location that has spare time, that is big enough for our growing size - I've only had one market, but it has already grown! I am happy to be able to help out so many mums. I still stick by my original idea, that it is all about mums having the opportunity to promote their business, whatever their business. I don't mind what people sell, there is always a buyer! And hopefully, as the markets continue, there will be some friendships built between the selling mums. I don't want a market that is filled with competitiveness. I don't want mums looking over at another table and thinking, I've done so much better than them. I would like the mums to help each other, and offer support to one another. I know that if I had heaps of spare money, I would buy from each of these mums - the products are beautiful, and the services and branded products are very cool - obviously the mums selling them think so too, or they wouldn't be selling them! You don't need much more of a testimonial than that!

It was great giving out the prize packs too. The winners all seemed very excited to win. Many of them saying they never win anything! I'm trying to think of ways of getting more mums winning, so that more products are spread around! We shall see!

Not a big post this time, I'm busy sending out mass emails, and sorting the behind the scenes things! But it is all ticking along nicely this time - especially because I have more than a few weeks to get it all sorted - far less stressful for me!
